Hey 70 doesn't seem so old anymore! And I don't have to be the oldest to be the slowest!!!
You're all punks, and me too. Eddie Fisher raced at NJMP last weekend at the age of 91, on the bike he won the 1953 Laconia National. Eddie fought in WWII. My hero.
Man, 91! Geez Dave I'll have to get a 2-fiddy...
60 last month....
60 little over a month ago.
Tony Serra !
I turned 60 in May. I run Lt Wt Twins and F-2. Does that qualify as Vintage racing ?
I turned 65 on the 19th of this month and kept it low profiled . I run my hot rodded 206 consew in the supersewer nationals but lately the grids have been pretty dang sparse because most of my competition have fell by the wayside. I miss that. I ride my dog in the sr500 sidecar rig over by the river in the late evenings and I get the sportster out for a ride around the block. when I take the old track bike up and down the road just for old times the neighbors look at me funny like they want to call the law on me. but life goes on. Bill and Darethea
Gary Fischer was at NJMP for the AHRMA races last month. 91!!! o:
Eddie Fisher, Gary's dad.
I'll be 62 in October, if there was an over sixty class, I would consider a comeback
Yes! Over 60 would rock!!!
63 and draggin' a knee! You are never too old unless you believe you are!!!
Well at least the bike looks good.
So do you guys get senior citizens discounts from WERA?
With as many old people as run with us we'd have to raise fees to offset the discount
I like to think of it as an honorarium - I'm honored they still let me wobble around.
you should see what's under those leathers!
