But having watched more than a couple of loved ones lay in a bed, terrified, gasping their last couple of agonizing days... I'd much rather see granny bang a fat rail, stare at everyone wide-eyed, and blow a heart gasket with a hurryupness.

If that's what she wants to do, decided while she was still lucid.

 

I've recently seen far worse ways to go! We had someone that was with us for assisted suicide. His 2 sisters flew in to say goodbye to him.
The shithead,red tape kept him waiting, so he asked to go home and die in peace. Yet again, discharge paperwork was slow as shit,and he
passed away alone in his room on a weekend. His sisters had to fly out, due to the prolonged shit show of red tape.
Can't say anyone will get me in a room voluntarily when my time comes...if I have that option .
