Ninja 250 generation explanation please?

I believe the generation system on the 250 is of the standard flywheel/stator/rectifier variety.

Will an '06 motor fit in an '09?

 

Depends on your skills. Should be close enough for minimal mods to the mounting locations.

 

Electronics and the loom might not be quite the same.
