After doing many track days I decided to give the real deal a try before I get to old to have fun, so at 57 years old the Barber event will be my inaugural race, and I am so looking forward to it. Been nosing around the forum the last couple of days and I can tell there are some really good folks here, some I know and ride with and I look froward to getting to know a bunch more of you. I will be riding an EBR 1190rx, love me a twin! I want to thank those who have taken the time to answer my questions, Mr. Brooks, Trevor, Mark, Sean. See you at the track!!!
Thanks! Pat is a great guy and rider. That was not your ordinary Buell 1125r, he had that thing moving!!
Had a great weekend, Saturday was a learning experience, my starts really sucked, but still did well for my first race, Sunday was awesome, starts where much better and managed a 2nd place in HWT novice. Great time and I appreciated all the help David Brooks and Jack Thomas provided. Hey Perone where the hell where you!! IPA's where good and cold!!!
Yeah, looks like I will head over to Middle Georgia Motorsports Park with Cliff Nobles and get some practice runs in. Thanks. Had a great time at Barber!!!
