I saw this on RRW and it made me go hmmm. https://www.roadracingworld.com/new...cing-championship-scmrc-launches-2025-season/
I guess they're going to do 3 sprint races and an endurance race each day. That sounds interesting. If they actually race at NOLA, I might have to check it out. PanAm is supposed to be at Barber that weekend, but I'm not holding my breath for that.
Oh, that crew, the one's using GTU/GTO/GTL to define sprint classes and confusing the fuck out of me.
Their rules don't match what they have posted for the schedule... I'm not holding my breath for these guys either
I have no clue...i know the last CMRA event at Eagles Canyon was $10 to enter (all day no parking fee charged) on my motorcycle. I found the parking info on website.
So eliminating the most popular supermoto bikes stock for no reason or making the riders spend 2k for new wheels again for no reason.
So their endurance races are paying $5k for first down to $800 for fifth per class but only 20 "charters"(teams) per class are allowed entry at $230. I'm pretty bad at math but these numbers don't make much sense. Endurance teams also must have a team principal that isnt allowed to ride and you can't enter the same bike in more than one class....
The team rep you can find in the pits all the time I get, you need to be able to talk to someone. But yeah, that money ain't working out in reality.

Up to you. I'm listening during my commute and am about half way through as I've got nothing better to do. So far it's not helping my belief that it's either bullshit or a con. I also struggle to find much on Kevin Johnson who's apparently the founder. I know I'm being hypercritical of it and I do hope the series does well if it's legit but there isn't much that adds up.
TWS used to do this. I always thought it was weird charging motorcycles, people you want to come see a race. But what do I know. Maybe that's why most are/were broke. Not enough cash flow from bike parking.
