Tulsa King, and 1923 on Paramount+ are pretty decent. the Africa stuff in 1923 kept me interested. Stallone, and the supporting cast are actually pretty good in Tulsa King. Think Soprano's of Oklahoma. Ski
Documentary on the career of Nolan Ryan, was a great watch. One of my childhood heroes. 51 MLB records. Ski
Fauda - Season3 is now out. Great show from Isreal - gritty, well acted, and sobering to see how things are there with the Palestinians and Arab countries all fighting non-stop.
I'm laid off and signed up for NETFLIX today and been watching my first ever NETFLIX show/series that I've ever seen.... Trailer Park Boys. I've been on a bender today.
May have already been mentioned but Black Bird on Apple+ is excellent. Serial killer mini series with Taron Egerton and Ray Liotta in his last role.
The Last of Us on HBO has been brilliant. I had my doubts (IMHO the first game is right up there as the GOAT), but so far it has perfectly captured what the game was all about with amazing performances and incredible production quality. When I learned that it was co-created by the guy who did Chernobyl, it made sense. There is not fat on this show. Every scene, every piece of dialogue serves a purpose, and only builds the narrative.
Full Swing documentary on PGA golfers was done by the same folks that did the F1 behind the scenes doc I believe. Pretty entertaining so far.
Only thing more boring than golf is, watching golf on TV... Oh wait, watching a documentary on golf, on tv. LOL! I never understood the draw. Hit a tiny ball, with a big stick, and go chase it. yep, nope... not for me. Ski
I would much rather watch a documentary on golf than watch a tournament on TV. An interesting story can keep my interest no matter what the actual activity is.
