A friend and I were recently talking about racing R6's partially because of how legendary the chassis is and how influential it has been in the 600cc category.

It got me thinking... what bikes should everyone ride or own at some point in their lifetime?

It could be for a dirt, street, road racing, etc. Just curious what everyone's thoughts would be.

An easier list to compile would be what bikes to NOT own and ride.

Phew. That was a helluva list to compile. :D

Which 2-stroke and why? I'm trying to ride my buddy's '98 TZ250 if he'll let me!

Had an 89. That’s what I was in when the texting dipshit plowed into me in 2015, and buried the bike into his engine bay

We only got the VTR250 from 1988-1990 but overseas that bike carried on for another 10 or so years. When I lived in Tokyo in the late 1990's, sooooo many of the motorcycle couriers were riding the VTR250.

Im absolutely terrible with the little twins on track, including the vtr. But I loved commuting on it.

OG H2 definitely!! Grew up on my dads, then like a real dumbass I acquired 2 relatively cheaply and sold them just as the prices started shooting up.

I rode an r1 on the street once. I would like to ride one in a practice session or two at Barber or mid ohio.

I bet those are eye watering.

Certainly not the fastest two stroke but I would love to ride a TZ 750. Also I would like to ride a properly updated H1R.

    DANG YOU GUYS!!

Only rode the crossplane r1 once, when they first came out. A local yammi dealer had a demo ride trailer so naturally I signed up for that one. That was the second of two times ever getting to ride a leader bike :D But I’d love to spend a day at Summit on one
