Aragon has always been one of my favorite tracks. I absolutely love how it’s carved into the side of a mountain. It’s been fun seeing the Aprilia, Honda and Yamaha mix it up the last few weeks. I’m hoping KTM can mix it up this weekend as they did well here last year. I think of this as a Marc track though so my bet is on the double.

IMO its just OK compared to others around there (Barcelona, Jerez, Portimao). It is in a nice area though, wide open and not too much traffic getting out of there.

I thought they used the layout without t16, just the long left hander at then end of the lap. ??

I just love the back drop when they’re descending the side of the mountain.
As far as the map, I grabbed a wrong version.

I expect us to return to our regularly scheduled program where MM93 walks away with an easy double this weekend.

Marquez riding that long left handed down hill banked sweeper elbow down in a two wheel drift is magical to watch.

As I usually tell my wife.... I don't work in that department.

I will say... that first map might make it interesting though.

Love this track. Seems to lend itself well to some drama and challenging overtakes.

I do think the main race this weekend will be an entirely Ducati affair as far as front-runners, but I think the sprint race could lend a few surprises.

lol all good. I know @BigBird ’s been busy so just trying to help out. @27’s excitement is really really missing from these MotoGP threads. He’d be on fire talking about how Bez off the win is going to dominate and the. Remind us how Rossi found Bez building these bad ass bikes from scrap parts. lol.

I'm gonna go out on a limb and say Acosta gets his first podium of the season!

That's a pretty shaky limb there, buddy. Not that I don't want it for him.

    I love the track.

The scenery is a bit barren and desolate and brown. Sort of like the lower half of california.

Unfortunately with a 360 kph front straightaway this round could end up being an all Ducati freight train up front.

If top speed and/or 360kph is the determining Factor, the top 4 will all be on KTM then followed by Aprilia's so a top 8 lockout!!!

    You heard it here first!

Bastianini over the Marquez brothers is a bold strategy, Cotton.

The desert has it's own beauty.
Have you ever been there after the spring rains? Seen a desert floor with a green hue?

I was in socal for 25 yrs. Yes theres about a month out of the year where its scenic.

I fit in better in the midwest where its green more often than not and the terrain isnt trying to kill you.

I’m literally in Arizona for the first time in my life right now and have already fallen in love with the desert. It is absolutely beautiful out here.
