Ducati must have a remote activated leak. Marc crashed, quick activate operation red flag!

i was thinking Engineering Genius GiGi surely implemented a small leak valve that can be activated remotely to take advantage of the rule

Question for the group, is the Ducati juggernaut slowing? We've had MM crash 3 times during a Sunday race and we've seen the most versatile bike (historically) on the grid struggle with setup. Did ALL the Ducati teams pick the wrong tire or is the team losing its edge?

This weekend got me thinking that the Martin / Aprilia drama could actually be a boon for Aprilia. If Bez & team can continue with this weekend's form, and someone like Marini comes on board, then there could be a silver lining to the Aprilia situation. What happened to Ogura?

That hurt to watch. I feel for the dude because that was a garbage way to finish the weekend. The question I have now is whether Yamaha just made the right tire choice or if they have found a way to get their bike to work with the softs better than the other or if its a combo. Regardless, it is good to see the Yamaka back up front.

Canet clearly had pace, but with the way it ended, I just came away thinking that hanging back in 2nd or 3rd wheel until 2 laps to go and then checking out would have been a better tactic. Which is of course what a nobody like me sitting on a lazy boy eating bon bons would say, but still...

I said this previously. If the Pecco's European campaign falters, then it is time to start sounding an alarm bell (see lazy boy comment above for credibility). However, MM93 is having some bumps too along the way even though he is clearly the dominant rider. I makes me wonder if the 25 bike is "off."

Agreed on all points, but have been meaning to ask...

I know we refer to Fabio as Quarterpounder around here. However, shouldn't we refer to him as The Royale with Cheese? You know, cause the metric system and all?

I think it was a Silverstone issue. I'm calling a podium lock at Aragon. I ain't ruling out top 6.

Martin Lewis Can we go back to the track already?

Ogura has a fracture in his right tibia from a crash on Friday. they missed it in his initial visit to the medical center, but when it was worse overnight, they took another look and found the damage
Silverstone was an outlier, but they are definitely slowing. The only reason MM is running at the front is because he's MM, not because he's on the best machine. You can't possibly have watched that race and not thought that the concessions are working as intended. We've known that FQ20 was only being held back by the Yamaha, and there is no denying that they've finally put a "good enough" bike underneath him.

    1) MM go fast and fastest on team
    2) Team listen to only MM every other rider is dumb they don't need them we have MM
    3) MM make front end of Bike Piece of shit, that only he can ride
    4) Team still listen to MM many riders fall,
    5) MM go fast fall down, break himself in pieces, riders leave
    6) Team left with POS bike and drive all other good riders away
    7) Team devastated for years trying to find thier way after MM leaves cuz the bike he built is a POS

Oh wait, that already happened, it will happen again at Ducati. Peco already knows this and will be gone when the contract is up.

Ducati isn't going follow MM as far down as Honda did. That said, they've already started falling for his shtick.

Yes because all of the other manufacturers gave up and decided to continue riding their shitboxes from years past in protest, makes sense. Pecco and Marc bitching about the 25' bike when it was released in testing also had nothing to do with it...:Poke:

Yes because they built this 25 bike off Marc riding the 24 last year. Pecco has been complaining about this since the first test.

Just for conversation's sake, and acknowledging we don't have all the info, a very informal comparison of Fabio D's 2024 season (when he was on a GP24) versus this season to date on a GP25 intimates a less consistent bike. Overall, in 2024 Fabio D was there or thereabouts pretty much every where. In 2025, on the GP25, the performance appears peakier. Again, Silverstone could be an outlier, but it's worth making a note of the finishes thus far (at least IMHO).

As for Yamaha and The Royale with Cheese, and Honda for that matter, the concessions do seem to be working. Which they should and it is great to see. However, I do wonder if KTM is on its way out of MGP. With the parent company's ongoing finacial issues, I don't foresee a ton of development over the course of the year and if we're honest Acosta lucked into 6th on Sunday.

Fabio D was on a 23 last year. Pramac had the 24s. Martin and Morbidelli were on them.

They actually brought new parts to try. Who woulda thunk that would work. Oh and they lost Repsol.

That's kinda my point right? Peco hated the front end of the 25 from the start and was hesitant to say that's better, but MM could ride it so they said OK lets go. MM I do not think had a 24, I think he went from the 23 in 24 right to the 25 in 25. Not 100 percent on that though
