I would never cheer for someone crashing. That’s disgusting. It’s the reason I hate Brian Deegan and metal militia so much. I was standing next to them at 01 or 02 Supercross in Daytona when Pastrana passed out mid jump and they were laughing and mocking him.

 

Anyone else catch that Marc was presented with two different flags at the end of the race? Smart move to take the Ducati Corse flag instead of the Marc93 flag.

I've always seen the potential of Bez to ride at the level of Pecco when he got on a bike that worked for him. Super happy to see it really come together for the guy. Can anyone tell me what the deal is with the wooden leg and what's written on the back of his helmet? I saw a brief repeat appearance of the leg after the race.

I'm gonna say props to Pecco for binning it. I'd rather see him crash out trying than languish at the back of the field.

 

Pecco could never have ridden as well as Bezz did today. He pushed Marc, that was a spectacular race between those two, little brother couldn't keep up.

 

Same thing he did at Mugello.

but this time he was a SFTU moment for the podium.

 

Announcers said yesterday it was his homage to an Italian Film - Three Men and a Leg - apparently a comedy from 25-30 years ago - guessing it's a fav of Marco's...

Meh, can’t blame the guy for showing a little emotion after losing out on a great result due to a chain. Now if he goes bashing his team in the media, that’s a different story. But you can’t blame him for feeling heated in that moment.

That was a captivating GP race! So happy to see Bez riding so well! Hopefully Martin keeps working and learning the bike and we get some good racing up front.

Trading lap records in the last few laps was amazing.
