MM still punting riders after throwing his bike down the track. Some things never change. Did they dock time at the end of the race or are they going to make him do the long lap at the next round because he willingly chose not to complete the long lap penalty?
Who is paying his salary for yesterday's race? If you're going to be dumb just for the sake of it, let me know so I don't waste any more time.
I agree with the sentiment shared above. I've already started rooting against Trackhouse and Fernandez because he's staying. I'll root for Oliveira because they booted him for Ogura. But, I don't mind AO anymore. It was nice to see the emotion when he clinched it. He probably deserves a GP ride just wish Joe got this one. I'm still not happy American racing is fielding Ramirez. You think VR46 team is supporting anyone except an Italian? You think Repsol is backing anyone that isn't Spanish, if they weren't sponsoring a bike that no one wants to ride, at least? I wish AR would always field 2 Americans and Trackhouse would always have 1 seat dedicated with an eye on promotion from AR. That's how I would spend other people's money.
Ogura over JR was an easy pick as much as it hurts to admit. If he could've run more consistently at the front, maybe, but then age is also a factor. The bigger question is who do we even have that might be able to mix it up in GPs? Any class for that matter. Landers went over there and got his ass handed to him in RBR.
We have no one resembling anything remotely competitive for the big leagues and folks here will say some random kid on a clapped SV is the next big thing. Reality sets in. Our superbike series is on the verge of geriatric and that's the reality we're all living in.
I did right up until 2008 at Indy when he crashed out of the lead and picked his bike up and rode up through the field for a strong finish. Can't remember exactly where he finished, but it was very respectable.
