Aleix is done. Vinales will have to show up this year and Oliveira better beat both of them. Raul’s talent hasn’t been tapped since Moto2 but if he comes correct, is better than all 3 of them.

Yup, Honda and Yamaha will have to step up then. It's not Ducati's fault the Japanese can't keep up.

I wanna see what Pedro can do with a year under his belt. Hopefully someone besides KTM will buy his MotoGP contract.

Anytime you have the fastest racer to ever grid up on your bike....you have a chance.

I don’t think can’t keep up is correct. I don’t think the Japanese manufacturers thought MotoGP would turn into who had the best gadgets. They honestly got caught flat footed with the ride height gadgets.

Apparently the engineering team at Honda has taken umbrage to that, and provided him with a bike that will yield a solid 6-10th unless it further injures him.
I don't think Honda will solve it this year.

Because "seamless" transmissions, corner by corner GPS controlled traction control, and launch control are not gadgets? Because, as I recall, the Japanese pioneered that stuff. What I'm saying is; it's always about "gadgets" until they are proved technologies. Then they are de rigeeur.

He's about to murder the field, IMO. He came back after a femur fracture last year and was immediately at the front. The kid is insanely talented.

Yes, but the Duc had Gigi of the Magic Eyebrows and engineering staff that listened.
Honda's got a long history of not listening to their riders.

It supposedly took them over a year to listen to Lorenzo and by the time they did, he was already fired.

I remember that. When they finally listened to him he was damn near unstoppable...but they had already fired him.
