Josh H and Richie E both took a tumble...that duc went for launch wow! Josh may have injured himself. He was complaining that he tumbled awkwardly. Hope their both okay.

 

My heart sank as soon as I saw it because his head hit the wall.

 

Man Escalante ..Messed up that new lid! Glad he's up! I wonder if they have backups for those one offs?

 

In hearing the curbs are slick. Isn’t Laguna supposed to be FIM approved paint?

 

My girlfriend talks with him on FB.I guess Im lazy! He offered to leave her tickets for us ,but Its hotter n piss last few days.

Just saw a post saying both Jake and Kyle are out for the weekend.

 

Laguna repainted the curbing in several areas yesterday, exit of turn 2, riders left turns 3 and 4, entrance to turn 5, exit of turn 10.

My god. I'm so thankful Morrison looks to be ok. I've never seen so clearly on TV someone get run over like that.

Folks talking about their first visits to Laguna brought back some really old memories. My first trip to the races at Laguna was 1959, when I was 10 years old, with my dad, and he and I went twice a year every year through all the Spring and Fall Series/can Am races and some Indy car races. In the 60’s I only remember one AFM bike club race shared with SCCA (old wide open configuration of turns 2-3 led to a couple big nasty crashes), and then the AMA races and all the bike GPs. Unfortunately I haven’t been back since the GPs though. I always loved it, it really brings back memories, wish I were there, have a great time guys.

Crashing sounds especially heavy this time, hope everyone is ok.
