    That is messed up for Gus. I would like to read the rule on that, because that is the first time I have heard this “actively competing” thing. Sounds like a good way to have riders pushing to “compete” on a crashed bike.

    I stepped away for a moment.

    What was the reasoning for Gus being disallowed from the restart?

    Nonetheless, Gus walked the line well with his comments towards Motoamerica. Excellent restraint and professionalism, especially for a 17 or 18 y/o young man.

    So not competing since he was on the deck for 15 seconds tops before the red. Also other bikes scattered. Plus he got up and in within the time. So why could he not have picked the bike up and caught up for a point? I definitely don't get that call.
