Josh sucks... I heard it here first lol... Seriously though. I was rooting against Cam during qualifying, not because I was really rooting against him, but because I wanted to see a race. If he's on form, it's his race to lose. In my mind, circumstance has deprived him of last year's championship, and probably this year's as well, but that's racing, and I digress. Meanwhile Josh pulls the pin from the second row and is gone. I don't see how you can take anything away from him here.
Felt great to be back at a race track and watch some racing. That was my first time at mid Ohio and I was in awe of the track. Had a good time. Glad I flew in for the races and met some people . Big thanks to ed for showing me around and educating me on the different turns and areas. Also to Mr Summers for the tickets . Saw mark Merical in person for the first time as I usually make his Sunday video time. When I first got there I sat right down and had perfect views of the bikes and several turns . Good stuff even if it did rain.
I think it was at Barber when 2 of their supersport bikes pushed oil. I heard it was an oil temp sending unit that was the culprit. Not sure what happened yesterday but it would be odd for a restricted bike to grenade the bottom end..
Once again race control screws the pooch. It seems like they are more concerned with staying on schedule then stopping a race. Once again, they haven't learned from their past mistakes...
Y'all expect dudes just to ride into the grass at race speed as soon as the motor makes a sound. How many of you have popped a motor at the track at race speed? It's not always entirely obvious when it happens. There's a lot of shit going thru your head, a blown motor is pretty far down the list of shit that might have happened.
