I’m really excited to see what Troy can do.

 

Are they racing snowmachines on the lake too this weekend?

Driving up to Brainerd from Pennsylvania for the weekend

 

What if Troy shows up and shops out? I mean Australian SBK aint no joke right?

 

That would be to see!

 

^^^ Won't happen in Superbike. Troy is no joke, as his Bagger prowess has proven, but the combination of Brainerd and SuperBikes requires too much knowledgebase to overcome in a single weekend. Maybe top 5 if he reviews previous years races, learns quickly, and keeps his nose clean in the opening laps?

I'm just happy there is racing to watch during the long break in the MotoGP schedule!

I also don't remember him riding a BMW in Australia. That's a lot of things to learn in one weekend.

 

It ain’t like the old Turn 1 Brainerd and he’s a massively skilled rider so I think at least the box is possible.

And if it rains who knows?

 

I think he’s going to hurt some feelings…

 

I am not enthused about going there this weekend.

Nah. Virtually no snow in Minnesota this past winter. I believe they had a spring snow storm that was near the total season's recorded snowfall in some places. Lots of record or near record high temperatures also.

Not to worry about a drought interrupting the mosquito larvae habitat, however. Heavy rainfall the past month has most of the rivers at near flooding levels everywhere.

 

Yup.

Been a very wet spring, Lake Mtka by my place is about a foot below washing over the road and the Minneshitholia River is high as fuck too. Skeeters are abundant.

 

I think if you keep referring to your general area as "shit" at some point it will negatively affect your mental health

 

I’ll seek treatment in 9-1/2 years when I can GTFO.

Ticks are pretty bad this year too, and Brainerd is an area known to have Lyme. If you end up out in the grass, make sure to do a thorough check for those evil bugs.
