If you look north of Merida in Google Earth, you'll notice an atoll. There are about a dozen structures on one of the islands. They're in the direct path of the storm.
Is your wife a...goer...eh? Know what I mean? Know what I mean? Nudge nudge. Nudge nudge. Know what I mean? Say no more...know what I mean?
Isla Perez. Never knew that was there. Flown over that area a hundred times at least. I hope the “was there” doesn’t turn into a past tense “was there”

Just took a walk down whats left of the beach on the south end of TI, the place is a ghost town, debris isn't flying into trucks in Sunset beach, going to me a lot of airborne furniture missiles when it hits, current tack is just south of me around the Tradewinds on St Peter beach.
aw shit thats rough. I visited my folks down in Naples right after Ian, and they got a decent mess right along the water. Ft. Myers beach looked like a bombed out warzone.
That's where you are? I called my wife a few years ago and told her I was burnt out and to find somewhere for us to go for a few days. We ended up at Tradewinds. It was decent. Kids enjoyed it and we all had fun.

From the feed I used last time. Guy basically started a new feed to follow for any Atlantic hurricane. 899 on pressure. Crazy low.
Had two of my kids hop on the first commercial flight out of WNC. One has nunchucks and wanted to stick with me for the apocalypse. F… they flew to Orlando…
My GF's mother is in Orlando and was able to catch a flight out this afternoon. Aside from that, she said everyone's been very calm about everything.
