An interesting interview with Josh Herrin, and a surprising poke at Stanboli at the end with an accusation of pushing the rulebook a bit..
I used to be a big fan during his attack and Suzuki days. There seems to have been a big attitude shift this year that hasn’t been positive imo. That being said, I do think it’d be pretty awesome to see Herrin crush Gagne and the Attack squad on the V4. Especially after all the mudslinging. Do I think that will happen? Probably not.
Better watch Herrin. He's used to the Dunlops and not all polluted with the notion that the Ducati only works with Pirelli tyres.
I'm in the same boat. I'm not a hater on Herrin by any means. He's a good dude, a great rider, but I'm less of a fan.
I’m going to go out on a limb here and say. . . Um, no. My bet is he’ll be doing more wheelies on public road on the pay to watch porn site than causing Stromboli to loose sleep. But hey, I was wrong once or twice in the past.
Never said he was gonna spook or worry anyone. All the other Ducati "pilots" had to get used to the tyres, tracks, food trucks, whatever. Herrin knows the tires and tracks already and "should" have a better track to help the Italians sort the bike.
I wonder if those tricks he mentioned had anything to do with Richard talking about tire juice on the trackdaz podcast. That whole topic seemed odd.
It has been pretty quiet. Does anybody knnow anything new for the New Year? Does anybody have any unfounded speculation or baseless rumors? What about any Daytona news, it is coming soon?
MotoAmerica and BSB are combining and reinstating the transatlantic series. watch RRW for the announcement.
I believe that we have Herrin, Cam Peterson, and Squid Hunter confirmed for the 200 via podcasts / social media.
I got them all on VHS still. I actually ordered a NEW (yes, they still sell them) vhs player last year just so we can keep playing all my old Duke racing vids from the 80' and 90's.
