So, do you have a co-driver in those things or is it a solo thing in a two seater?

Does Steve Austin, former pro wrestler race side by sides out in that area for/with Kawasaki?

Thanks. To be honest I know next to nothing about off road 4 wheel racing other than it looks cool af. Buggies, cars, pick-em-ups, didn’t if they were different divisions in the same race or different animals entirely.

I do know he has two solid ass cats and a bunch of Kawasaki products. :D

Nope, never raced one before. I have 8,000 miles on the one i have in Mexico and I drive it real FAST, so that should qualify me, LOL.

Co-driver, she has a Garmin thats made specific for racing. It has the course and all the danger markings on it. The course has signage for all that stuff too.
We were catching air off of these high speed rollers yesterday during pre-run and she began laughing hysterically. I kept it going by messing with her up until she couldn't breathe, haha. Plus I needed her to call out stuff to me!
I honestly didnt see the need for a co-driver because I've raced dirt bikes point to in the past and you don't have a co-driver obviously.
She is doing fantastic at it and I can drive a lot harder getting info ahead of time.

Of course humans lay out the track and humans make the GPS tracks and so the info isn't always spot on and we had some exciting moments because of it.

Pre-run was awesome up until 20 miles out, we got into some really, really rocky tight stuff. Super sharp craggy ass rocks. I cut a sidewall on the left rear. Had to stop and throw the spare on. Probably 35 mins to do it.
We got back in the car and all hooked up and belted in and all the co-driver had to say was, well that wasn't a nascar fast tire change. :crackup:Good times.

Off to Vegas this morning to get tires for the car. I cant stand the tires that are on the car now. I've ran them in Mexico on my other car and cut a sidewalls before.
These are 35 inch tires on the car, I cant find the tires I like in 35. So I ran the ones I don't like. Screw that, I can get the ones I like in a 33 inch in Vegas. Im gonna run 33s instead.

Again, thanks to everyone that offered help!

Having a blast so far, what a hoot!

Well.......the flat tire problems continued for me on Saturday. Started out with 5 brand new tires.
Ended up with two flats and an end to our day.
First flat was 5 miles from the start. Much faster tire change this time for me, but still got caught and passed by the other cars in my class.
We were catching people and passed one. But, then another flat.
    Lesson learned, I hope.
It was a blast anyhow and very challenging.
This car is amazing on several occasions ripping along at 105 mph.

Was actually going to head to Laughlin Nevada for a race this coming weekend, but my car isn't legal. The car cant have operable doors and needs bars and braces welded in.

Next race where my car is legal is late January.

What do you have to do to fix the tire problems? Is there a foam fill option?

Carry more spares. Rally cars usually carry one. In some races (Saudi Arabia last month) they carry 2...and even then some cars will puncture more tyres than that on stage. Saudi has some very rocky stages that eat tyres.

Definitely half the sport is driving to keep the equipment alive. Good work out there!

There is a tire company, MRT is the name. They seem fairly new and small compared to the big name guys.
They make a tire with Kevlar side ply material.
They have a racer program also. About 1/2 off retail if you sign up. Thinking about trying those out.
That way instead of getting flats I can start ripping lower control arms and trailing arm off, lol.
