Spent yesterday painting and prepping bodywork while watching 24hr Daytona in the shop. A cold beer was had too
I'll admit that weather dictates my participation. I raced my RZ and FZR there one rainy weekend and it was miserable.

We said heck with the weather, we're here. We did hear some concern with the repave in turn two. Talked to a lot of people that did the track day earlier and they said it's almost scary, wet or dry.
Ha, that's lake Talledega in front of my trailer......yup, 2 is greasy. I hear we are the guinea pigs. We get the honor of being the first vehicles since the repave.
We weren't the first really. Thursday they had cars out there doing laps and drifting. They also were doing laps on their personal bikes earlier in the week when they were working on it.
I was there. Good meeting you RD. I'll see you next time Charlie. Good food and beer Saturday night, eh Stick? I had two of my two strokes there and have never had so many people come up to me to talk about them. Sunday afternoon racing was good.

Nice meeting everyone as well. Sunday was better. Turn 2 got better, but that dust at the exit kept it interesting. I'm looking forward to the next one
