If you get serious, I know of a Zarco Moto 2 bike for sale.

I got the radiator shroud delivered to me in Daytona, which allowed me to put the rest of the under fairing aero stuff on- The shroud has a built in overflow for the radiator and it was cracked. Ed Sullivan (who most know as a crew chief for Scholtz but is also a brilliant composites guy) fixed it for me.

I also ordered a standard Triumph water pump inlet pipe, it's the only piece of steel in the cooling system and my coolant is all rusty because of it. After the first ride, I drained the oil and coolant to check and clean everything and found the rusty ass water. So the bike *should* be ready to ride for this weekend's trackday. if not I'll have to wait until N2 comes to Homestead in January.

I need to find a helper who can use a starter cart as my regular mechanic is working on a King of the Hammers truck out in Missouri. So I may just ride the Ape. Tough life I'm living over here!

All of that is on pause now because a plumber came here to fix a leak that I was too lazy to do myself and he royally fucked up my side yard. So now I'm out a bunch of cash AND I still have to do the digging. Here's a pic of the under-fairing aero and radiator shroud to distract from that stuff:

    Sweatypants I am so smart! S-M-R-T... I mean S-M-A-R-T!

not to just to suggest to throw another $2k out the door, but you ever considered picking up one of those nice floor ones with the pedal and rollers? I used to see them come up for sale pretty consistently in some GP parts groups or websites that get a lot of used GP stuff traffic. eliminate the need to have another person maybe. i've thought about that for myself as well, but then again i'll probably never finish my project so who gives a shit haha

I don't know how I missed this thread, but damn! I've always thought a Moto2 bike would be the ultimate toy. Congrats @Gino230 on getting this thing rolling. Had to be a ton of work.

Yeah I have priced out a few of them, but being realistic, I don't want any more STUFF that I'm not using, I already have the start cart, and most of the time my buddy is there at the track with me working for other guys- so it's not been an issue. The Honda 600 Moto2 I rode some years back was easy to bump start, we haven't tried it with this thing yet!

I can't imagine it ever being hard to find a pit neighbor to help you with it either.
