The one that’s stuck in my head was a yeller turbo I saw next to a 635csi at a real estate broker’s lot and it burned into my brain. Two perfect cars.

Next targa I saw was a black one wrapped around a tree but still, perfection even if it was soon to be cut into pieces.

The whale tail targa turbo is stupid as simple jack but yet perfect.

I’ve only ever driven one 911… it was a black one with no tail, the owner hated the tails, this was 1987… a black convertible… it seemed pretty new… this Italian dude from NYC moved to the local lakes to sling muscle cars from a restoration, collector shop… I think he was hiding from something… why would he hang out and party with car kids… anyway he always wanted to trade cars for a few hours and feel real horsepower in my Firebirds that I built and street raced… he had to beg me to trade him :D and I had no appreciation for his 911 or the handling he went on and on about…

what 911 would that have been? Probably worth a fortune I’m sure…

Yeah, there’s a few muscle cars I can appreciate but they’re really not for me. I don’t fit and didn’t enjoy driving them.
I fit euro cars and that’s my style of bonermobiles.

Altough I really dug gooning in a Jeep tracksomethingorother a few years back but that’s not really a muscle car.

You don't say? I hope you had the tinted windows rolled up. Indecent exposure charges can make life difficult later on. Chester.

Mike Burns was telling me about it,so I had to go watch it. It had me laughing my ass off,and wanting to cry at the same time. Billy didn't leave anything on the table, as they say.
I use to think I gridded up hungover, and feeling like shit! Billy was the party Goat, and still beat ass!

Haven't been in a Hooters in 20 years. What was the new uniform that clearly put them out of business?

I think it was the uniform with the dickn balls? I never ate one time at a Hooters.I was more of a trashy Tilted Kilt skank admirer in Gwinnett County Ga.

1987 conv with no tail would have been a Carrera Cabriolet. Worth a bunch these days, but not as much if it were a coupe.

I don’t think it was new but probably was only a few years old though… I was 16 and it was a VW to me ;)

They made the Carreras from 84 to 88. Prior to that was the 911SC made from 78-83. The cabriolet was introduced in 83. So it was either a SC or Carrera if it was a cabriolet and you drove it in 1987.
