i think what you see in fighting (most of the time) is that the longer you're on top, the more people can find your weaknesses and game plan for that. I think that's what happened in rousey and mcgregors case. they came on to the scene, had a style that took people a bit to figure out and figure out how to beat, but once they did, you started to see a few losses. in rouseys case, she didn't want to adapt, so she bounced. Conor takes his losses and tried to change up his technique a bit. sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. it doesn't make them a bad fighter. it'll happen to the best of them. no one stays on top forever. the more you fight, the more footage there is of you, the more people analyze it and figure it out and gameplan for it. somehow people haven't figured out how to knock out mayweather yet though..
