Just remembered someone who I should have thanked, James Stewart, who supplied me with the seat foam and some very sound advice on how to shape and fit it.

I'm finishing up the SL this week.

Also picked up a starter from my buddy in SC that he donated to my racing effort.

He built this from scratch and it's totally self contained. The battery is in a "swing" so you don't have to disconnect anything to move it around. I tried it out yesterday and it works well. I'm probably going to add a chain guard but even I can handle that.

 

"Race" is going to be a very loose term.

I was working on the B40 but had to stop and finish the race bike. I have spark at the plug and a kit for the carb.

You haven't came across the seat cowl for the GB have you? I'm riding it to a vintage motofest in SC this Saturday

 

No, I haven't even opened the garage door in a couple months. Just been going over and mowing.

 

The little Ducati is starting to take shape. Still need to build a motor and spoke up my 4IS front brake. Hopefully coming to a vintage grid near you this spring.

This is my project, the Eric Bostrom F3. Took it to the shop and she's running fine. Now to play with the cosmetics. I patched the broken fairings last week, going to rattle can it today. I do have a complete set of brand new unpainted bodywork, saving that for later.

 

Do not know how interesting it is, but I've been Working on an old EX500 for Ahrma, but if WERA ever makes it back to California I'm in!!!

Already got the bodywork and tank removed, and got it running off a fuel bottle.... motor sounds good and strong, so I am proceeding forward with it....
Imma pull everything off the chassis except the motor, and refinish everything and rebuild calipers/masters/suspension/etc.

 

A few cans of Rustoleum and she doesn't look too bad.

 

And that poor lil 1G just sitting there wanting some love…
