PWS is solid. I refuse to buy an sig at this point. Same with PSA. The BRNs are slick, especially the 180.

LMT & LWRC aren’t hard to find. Just gotta know where to look and maybe have some patience. And both are more accurate than anything else mentioned. I’m also a fan of my Colt piston carbine. And if you’re feeling like baller status the new HK MR556A4 is fucking sick.

Had a jakl but sold it, it’s good but not great. Can’t go wrong with pws as it’s just a well build rifle. Check out fortress tactical for all things pws
Decent sale on Lmt things a couple weeks ago

I've got a PWS MK216 (16" 308 long stroke piston). I've played with it and it's pretty smooth and adjustable to run a can but haven't really developed a load or shot for accuracy with it. It should be fine. I was about to put a Steiner T6Xi 3-18 scope on it when I got wind of a new Vortex Razor G3 4-24x44 that might be out in the next few months, so put the PWS back in the safe till the G3 comes out.

I have LMT DI rifles, just put together a Specwar upper with a 12.5" mid barrel (was a 16" that I had DWilson cut to 12.5"). I thought about going with the Shovelnose upper w/ a piston barrel/bcg, but decided to stick with the DI for now. So will see how the Specwar goes and decide to keep or swap for a piston. For LMT, sign up for notifications on D Wilson, titan and Rooftop defense and you'll find a piston barrel quick enough. Also GAFS on Reddit (Gun Accessories For Sale, be careful there, all of your spare time and money will soon disappear), but they do have a good system to weed out spammers.

Speaking of Reddit, gundeals is another good one that I just keep open in the background.

    Steeltoe What's my move?

PWS is the way. Now is the MK11 series worth the upcharge from the Alpha series? I'm confused whether the Alpha is the same barrel and still 1 moa guarantee?

Just did this same thing and caught a deal on a Kuna. $999 from SMGA. This is the model w/ the folding brace.

The plan is to pair it with a Yankee Hill Machine R9 suppressor and a Holosun AEMS - Solar optic.

    Thoughts?

for the price it's hard to fault the R9 and the AEMS. I have an AEMS on a Banshee 9mm and have been looking for a good price on a green one or the new Ronin.
I run the Dead Air Wolfman on my 9mm and 300 blackout, it's a bit heavier but it's a tank and takes abuse if I want to throw some lead down range.

Have you checked out huxwrx flow 9k? I’m all bout flow thru tech now, especially in 9mm as you will get bits back in your face

Eh, I’ll be nice and assume only the first couple sentences were a response to my quote and the question was more broadly posed to everyone else. :pI

just not big Springfield or PCC guy. Own 40ish guns and none that fit either category. More a preference thing I suppose.

Thank you. That's what's I've surmised as well. The R9 isn't perfect, but for $500 it is a great option. I understand that it's not the latest and greatest, but every review & reddit thread I could find really couldn't fault it. The only long term issue for me is that's it is not serviceable so I'll need to find someone to repack it (eventually). What do you use / recommend for cleaning?

I have looked into the huxworx and the flow through designs and they seem to be really well reviewed. However, the huxworx is roughly double the cost of the R9. This is my first foray into suppressors so I'm trying to take the value based approach. The other options that I was looking at were the OCL Lithium 9 and the Omega 9K. But again, given the highly positive feedback on the R9, I did not see a need to pay the premium for the others since I don't really know what I like yet. Thankfully the Kuna is a roller delayed design so the gassing is said to be lower even when suppressed. We'll have to see.

I'm just keeping you in the loop to give you an opportunity to restate your dislike for Springfield and PCCs... :p:D

the newer suppressor cleaning solutions seem to be getting good reviews. All of my pistol caliber cans can be disassembled so i do that and toss the parts into my stainless pin tumbler that I use to clean brass. I recently bought a cheap ultrasonic cleaner and have cleaned some stuff in there as well and it seems to do a good job. I would think the ultrasonic with some suppressor cleaner solution would be pretty good at getting 90% of the crud out of your can even if "sealed".

Yeah I get it but it’s a process if you want to get rid of a suppressor but it’s only $200 more for better ;)

I have two LWRC piston uppers. Match barrels, 16”. Happy with the accuracy, never an issue with either. Runs real cool and clean. I have DI guns, don’t shoot em much any more. Caught those two a few years ago on a big sale from CDNN, about 60% off. Should have bought ten.
