I just switched to a BDS Carnivore for my steel frame because it didn’t fit the previous owners gas pedal and it was too cheap to pass up. The lock came in handy, I could absolutely see that happening in a 2 gun style match. :crackup:I think I’ll still use the the universal MSP with the flashlight for my polymer PDP but the steel frame also doesn’t need any help in the weight department…she’s pretty thick already.

That’s not the first time I’ve heard of Axils being allergic to water. Mounting a rifle with over the ear muffs is my biggest problem, probably a skill issue rather than equipment problem. At work I have an AirPod in my ear most of the day so that’s not an issue. For long matches right now I keep my distance with foam plugs then double up when I’m shooting. I’d like to try an in ear but the Ottos start at about $500  I tried some Walkers because that was all that was available. I couldn’t get them to seal so I didn’t even take them to the range. Maybe I need to learn to mount a rifle properly and muffs with a bigger band? I think plenty people get by shooting a rifle with muffs.

I don’t like ear muffs much and they are definitely a no with a rifle. Most shooting I can be fine with foam plugs. Braked rifles I use the type that are molded to your ear

The sordins have a smaller profile and ride a little higher so I don’t have an issue on rifles with them. It also helps that I run my optics on the higher side but even using irons (which I still do sometimes) is still plenty doable

Anyone delt with GT Distributors? Having an issue with gun purchase.

not directly but they are a large police distributor that are located in GA just south of Chattanooga. I've been in the shop a few times and have bought random things from them in the past. I was just looking at their police trade in pistols recently...

usually they are GTG - I assume they will take care of any issues but that's just referenced by plenty of folks I know having bought stuff from them in the past.

Hey man, two sears, one gun. You know, because one sear is never enough safety.

Any of you guys interested in a Sig 229 (9mm) send me a DM for pics or info.

Original box, papers, 3x clips, trigger lock, etc. Hogue grips.

Clearing space in safe. I know for sure I havent put 1k rounds through it. Probably not even 750.

Well, wish me luck fellas. Doing a 5 mile, 9 stage, midnight run n gun (rifle & pistol) tomorrow (Saturday) night in KY. Haven't run since like October so I did a couple 3 mile runs this week and well... could tell I hadn't run in a few months. This is gonna be rough considering its 40% longer than that and I'm packing probably 30+ lbs of kit (mainly ammo). Round count is 70 per weapon but I want a full mag of each to start each stage with. Oh did I also mention it is one hilly ass range? Yea this is gonna suck lol

Whose putting this one on? Would be in just for the beat down.

On these run-n-gun operations, I like light ammo. Spend the money. Well worth it for those long runs.

    Cedar creek precision in Hopkinsville.

and that ammo is cool but way too pricey for the round counts involved. I’ll shoot well over 100 rounds just for rifle tomorrow.

    I don’t run. That’s over for me.
