I like our Athenas over the kriegoff, perazzis, and other Gucci over unders. A basic silver pigeon or the Athena are my favorite when I’m shooting uppity stuff

Hey! They don't do that anymore! They only go off in the holster now!

That’s because the trigger now has two sears. How clever!

I got rid of my P320s. But not because of the drama. I just don’t shoot them anymore.

I never liked my p320s. I had two trying to like them but just weren’t for me

Looks like @StaccatoFan hit the Nighthawk Custom lottery with both pistols arriving at the same time.

Looking forward to the comparison between the two as well as how they feel in relation to your namesake and the Atlases.

After putting a new trigger shoe (Tyrant trigger) in my Echelon 4.0C about a month ago, and getting great results with cutting the takeup down from 6mm to 1mm, I decided to go ahead with buying and installing the Powder River Precision trigger spring kit. I got it yesterday and installed it.

The pistol went from a factory 4 lbs 11 oz trigger pull (Lyman digital gauge) down to 3 lbs 6 oz. over a six pull average.....here is a pic of the Tyrant trigger installed in the Echelon........and yes, I wanted something a little "flashy"

I put red Infinity Triggers in my Staccato P and C2 and my Atlas Ares as well. I was inspired by the way the “Arm Missles” button switch on fighter jets is red. Looks good.

The XC has a blue trigger so Denise could tell the difference between the P and XC.

I’ve set a goal to achieve USPSA Master Class within 24 months. As I’m starting my journey, I’ve found these books to be helpful.

    With Winning in Mind
    Practical Shooting Training

In addition to reading and lot’s of dry fire, I plan on attending live fire training with Ben Stoeger.

Any and all recommendations for training material or live fire training programs will be appreciated.

Lots of live fire is usually too cost prohibitive for the average guy but that’s part of the equation. Also knowing when to stop a practice session is something some lose sight of. My son has been shooting since 8 and he trained to become very good in his teens and early 20s. Took some time away and now at 30 getting into a different discipline. I had to point out during a practice session he went from gaining ground to starting to lose ground. He didn’t want to stop like someone at the craps table wanting to work their way back. That just doesn’t work. You get to a point where your body and mind are tired and you need to stop. Preferably stop before you get to that point.
