I'll check the end mill bits that came with my kits and post pictures. I'll buy different end mill bits if it would give me a better result. I do have some alloys, also.

When trying to make a Delrin piece for a project come to fruition, I came upon the suggestion that a bit made for machining brass would be appropriate. I don't know what the differences in bits are but maybe brass/soft metal cutting bits would be called for with polymers as well.
    Just a thought.

Those look like they’d be fine for “milling” with a press and cross slide on polymer. We tried 2 different aluminums before the same way just experimenting. Would start to cut good then snag and dig in to the side too deep, so went back to my jig I made for use with a plunge router. Good luck with it and hope it works out good for ya!

Just take small bites with the end mill, meaning small depth increases. The worst is when you get impatient and try to mill more than necessary in a single pass and the end mill catches and jerks around. You can damage the lower and the end mill. Billet is way easier to mill than forged, so I'm guessing polymer will be like butter. I'd limit the speed of the router so the polymer doesn't melt as you mill it. Just set it to whatever the kit recommends.

223 controlled chaos is a nasty round. It hammered the hogs last night.

Got to figure out extraction issues with the glock. I think the rmr screw or something maybe messing with it. It won’t extract when I pull the slide back no matter how hard I pull

Yeah the wounds Kinda made me go ehh that’s pretty ugly. The pressure from the velocity to the cranium region was a little disturbing

In other news , we the rmr screws were too long or something got different screws and the glock is cycling now again

It won't extract or it wont eject?

Sounds like you could be right and one of the RMR screws is long.

It was a screw, it wouldn’t extract or eject but got it squared away

Slight case of temporary buyers remorse…….. Bought a pc charger yesterday instead of an AK pistol as my first HQL purchase. Kinda wish I did the AK first, just to get it into possession next week. Now I’ve gotta wait another month +/- before I can get the AK. Dammit. The charger is pretty cool though, and plan on suppressing it. Looking at the Rugged obsidians………any suppressed guys try that brand?

I’m confused. You could have bought an ak but couldn’t take it home til next week and now that you bought the charger, you can’t buy it til next month? What kinda dumbass laws yall got up there?

Bought the charger yesterday but can’t pick up til next week. Then it’s only one pistol purchase per month until I get a collectors license after first purchase, but that will take a month to process +/-. We have a week waiting period for pistols after purchase. Yeah, stupid. We ALL know this

@RonR ……..am I getting this correct? I can’t do the collectors application until after first purchase? I had to do a 77r already back in January for a stripped lower and had to go through the pistol process besides hql in order to obtain it. Seems almost like that would qualify as the first regulated purchase in order to just do the collectors application now instead of waiting til next weekend……or is it actual purchase requiring hql?
