Who has watched it? Is it good or yet another sequel that prays on nostalgia and steals another piece of your soul? We're gonna watch it this week but I'm afraid I'm going to be left angry and be forced to take it out on all you dopes. I also want to catch Popeye the Slayer Man but I ain't paying no fifty cents for no coke.
It's both nostalgic and good. Has a ton of cameos, has some crossover tie-ins with Waterboy and even Wedding Singer to an extent. It's a more "mature, family-oriented" story than the original. Is it still hokey? Yeah, sure. But it's fun.
netflix has both. Of course it has a similar story and nostalgia....but I really liked it. Some really funny moments. Travis Kelce and John Daley were great. The way they integrated the old his first caddy was great. I really liked the first one, so if that kind of childish humor doesnt appeal to you...remove the stick from your ass and laugh a little.
I had low expectations since the first one was so good, but was pleasantly surprised. The full on commitment to running jokes is impressive... keep 'em coming fail or not!
If you know what to expect going in it's funny. I liked it. Mindless humor has its place. If I want to be intellectually stimulated I'll call Stickboy.
The original is on Netflix, says leaving soon though. It is pretty good, if for anything else, the Bob Barker scene...lol!
Who would you prefer- perhaps Ryan Gosling? That's like saying Seinfeld would be better without Jerry...
