if you've ridden a Grom with rearsets, you'd change your opinion on that. makes it very uncomfortable.

    Phl218 .

yeah, but the stockers are way too low for the track or engaged road riding

Mine has had them since October of 2019. I installed them at 7120 miles. GROM has 14,967 on it now. I think I'll stick to my opinion.

if you're doing any sort of track riding, then 100% you need rearsets. Mine is pit bike and street riding. Rode a friends Grom with the rearsets and it was just awkward to putt around in.

If memory serves, it was nowhere near that buying through Jimmy at STG.

I wanna say ~$850 or something like that (Ohlins front and rear, Vortex rear sets - unsure if they can be setup as GP shift).

Unsure if the Grom and Monkey use the same parts, but if so….

What's a reasonable price for a used Grom these days?

For @Gorilla George - Used: previously owned;secondhand:a used car.

The new ones don't cost anymore that they did five years ago. Start with a fresh one.

Relevant today - I was an early adopter of The Grom. As a divorcee, my cash flow had dropped (child support) and my 07 1098S was never gonna get raced like it was meant to. 2014 I trade it in for a Grom for me and a CRF125 for my then to be 12 year old son. He's 20 now and out of the clutches of his mother - went and got his MC permit this morning. Now he knows how to ride off road (I have a street legal XR400 I make him ride on the farm).

Today was the first day we rode on the street together.
He rode the Grom and I rode my CRF250X motard that is also Baja Designs equipped for street use.

He loved it. (Bone stock Grom.) Likes it's flickability. He rode the 250X too.

    Two happy souls today.
