I've limited myself to stuff most should be able to find in the US. Faster Hitting The Apex Joey: The Man Who Conquered The TT The Unrideables (1 & 2) Group B - Riding Balls of Fire Eranhardt The Lionheart McLaren Senna Stewart Williams 9.79 The Birth of Big Air Free Solo The Last Dance RIDE: A Brutal Fairytale Take Every Wave: The Life of Laird Hamilton Tony Hawk: Until the Wheels Fall Off Tyson What's My Name: Muhammad Ali You Don't Know Bo Alright, what y'all got? Let's see some recommendations.
Did you really forget/leave off Faster & the doctor, the tornado, & the Kentucky kid? On this board? Shame.
Can we just call me after I was actually thinking of Faster when I mistakenly entered Hitting the Apex instead. I'm not even sure I remember what's in the latter. I need to check it out again. .
One Man's Dream (Britten) Grand Prix: The Killer Years (Very dark) Go Like Hell (Book - could list a LOT more, but I'm guessing this is about videos)
That’s fair. I thought it was quite odd that apex made it and the others I mentioned didn’t. I don’t remember much about it either other than thinking it was not the best moto doc I’ve seen.
Shit I’m over here giving papa grief about what he missed and somehow I forgot this gem. I’m not much into older stuff and the original is at least old enough to be my dad but fuck it’s good. while we’re at it, Dust to Glory is great and terrafirma 3 is just a personal favorite as I remember having it on vhs and watching it repeatedly as a kid. I had considered putting the Britten documentary on there as well and originally decided against it as it’s more about the man that the bike and competition. But fuck it, it’s great and this group would enjoy it. Cant remember the exact title. Would have to go dig out the dvd if someone is genuinely interested.
This is one of the most insane things I’ve ever seen, w/ Alex honnolds el cap climb doc probably being 2nd place. But 14 peaks is just the intense on another level
Yeah 14 Peaks is nuts….. I know they came out with a BS movie about it but the documentary Last Breath is unreal….
