As usual, no substance. I’d call you names but I think I’m too old for that.

Meh...I offer substance for substance. You received based on the value of your contribution. It's all about equity.

Tone deaf is bitching about the cost of gas while the shit that is causing it is going on. I’ll pay a few bucks and be happy that I’m not in their situation.

Well, my current fuel costs for work are $20-$30…per day. I guess my choice is to not go to my clients and not get their work done and not get paid.

My worst month for fuel costs for ONE work vehicle was 2008, when I shot over $650 out the tailpipe. Won’t be long before I exceed that again.

Looks like travel surcharges are back on the menu, boys.

Can’t you write that off or charge it to the customer? Shouldn’t that be built into your rate?

Where does the money come from? I eat the increase, or I pass it on and the customers eat the increase, either way it reduces my income or the customer’s buying power. You know what that’s called…

People who don’t own a business always say “can’t you just write it off”
The money has to be there first

You do realize that contractors often quote work far in advance, don't you? Probably not.

IRS sets it, and if memory serves they review every couple of years. Last I saw it was up to $0.55/mile.

They do adjust. Employers don't always follow.

My brother hauls exotic cars for a living. I just talked with him about it. You can claim cost over mileage .

Yeah, from what I see on here, everything to do with them is free and non polluting. It's a win for you and the environment. :D
