Not sure. WSBK bikes have superconcession parts that have mostly been relegated to chassis components.

I haven't watched much WSBK this year but will figure out how to watch those rounds. always good to see another US rider in the races.

The WSBK "control" tires are as accessible as the MA tires are. Maybe even more so, if you're paying attention.

And he's not operating in a vacuum.

I’m sure Yamaha Europe is helping Stromboli. No way they are going in blind.

Give the guy a chance. Even if he does eat corn on the cob the long way…

I can't wait to watch. I think the first weekend will be getting used to the whole vibe of the racing (having a whole field of riders who are at your level vs 1 or 2) and learning a bit more of setup and race pace. hopefully on pace a bit more the second weekend, but great to see a team/rider putting it out there and having a go at it. kudos to all of them.

I thought they did OK last time. New team in a VERY competitive series with a different spec. Against people with years, in many cases, of experience and data on the track. The days of of Kenny Sr going over and handing them their heads in year one are likely gone. Shoot look no further than Sam Lowes. A rider of caliber with a team of caliber but new to that class, yet they have struggled.

If nothing unusual happens at the 2 weekends like weird weather or an abundance of crashes, I think Bobby should be thrilled to get into the points.

A Top 15 on this grid as a Wild card/one off entry would be huge.

    Wish him and Attack well.

I'm excited to see it. Good luck to him and the team.

I'd love to see Beaubier get a similar opportunity.

Nah, he seems to know what he’s up against. Finishing in the points will be a win. Looking forward to this.

Assuming the MA season will be over by then? Hope he goes over there recently crowned!

Im wondering if this is Attack showing they may leave MA for WSBK if the rules change or SBK goes away in the US? Just speculation on why they are taking another go at this.

Nah I think stanboli just loves an excuse to take one of his guys to the world stage if he thinks they can run at least a respectable showing. From the engineering to the team management perspectives, he just loves this shit and has been doing it for years, going back at least to the CRT days in GP where he was running wildcards and probably longer (that’s just as far back as I remember).

MA season is over next weekend at NJMP.

+1 to Stanboli just liking this stuff. Also good for him to network with the Euro teams from a knowledge / idea standpoint.

Might be a plus for his sponsors also?
