I'm interested to see if I can have this mid pipe manufactured locally in the US as we're currently importing them from Bulgaria and of course it'd be better to have quicker access and ideally a better price on them as well. It is a mid pipe for a 1000cc inline 4 MV Agusta that replaces the muffler. Big weight savings, sounds great, easy to bolt on.

Let me know if you or someone you know could manufacture something like this. Any other (relevant) insight is welcomed as well.

Contact Watson engineering in Taylor, MI.

Their exhaust tube shop is really good but they're gonna want to make a lot of them

What is the current pricing for that pipe? Looks like the elbow is just a stainless prebend . What kind of quantity?

I have taken countless bikes to Vance & Hines Motorsports in Indiana.

they can probably make anything there as it’s the same shop as their Drag bikes, Baggers, and Flat track.

call up and ask for Eddie, he used to be the dude in drag racing and he now basically oversees operations.

they have made me multiple custom one off things for bikes that I couldn’t.

they aren’t the cheapest, I think most of the full custom exhausts I’ve had done were from $1000-$2000 depending on materials.

since you just need a piece, it shouldn’t be too crazy except that they won’t probably make a jig for one part so you might have to pay a design or fab fee maybe.

    worth a call.

Oh, good idea. Not out here in CA, but my dad raced Late Models and Bombers in Ohio and we have plenty of connections over there.
