Chevy passed after 14 years. He was the most innocent creature ever

 

Staffordshrire Bull Terrier.

 

We just had to put down our cat two weeks ago. Aggressive cancer.

He was the second cat we lost inside 8 months so that’s why No Mas mascotas once the last cat passes.

 

Beautiful dogs! We love all the bully breeds. I’m still gutted after putting down my AB……..in 2008!!

 

I saw a couple of videos of Staffies in my feed and I wanted one within minutes of watching. Small, insane and that stupid smile.

 

Mine has become a terror and I figured out why.

Lately for the past several months he has made it a hobby of terrorizing anything he can get his paws on. Board games, bookks, this one particular cloth container full of toys. I get most of that out of his reach, and now he just knocked over another little container full of nothing in particular. I just went thru this like 5 times this afternoon, id go into the basement, he would knock something over, Id scream at him, pick it up, rinse and repeat.

Im pretty sure my dog has my son rewarding bad behavior when Im not here. Dog knocks some shit over, my son comes downstairs, gives him a treat and puts him in the crate.

So my dog is now "hey when I make lots of noise I get a treat!"

And he made a lot of noise this afternoon but he gave me a confused look when I yelled at him but didnt give him a treat. The look on his face is he didnt think he was misbehaving at all, why was I mad at him?

This is going to be fun to fix but at least now I know the problem.

 

Sorry for your loss. He looks like an absolute sweetie. Not like those demons people called Chihuahuas.

We rescued this little terrier mix from doggie jail. This is him with his new human, my 90 year old mom, making his escape. They walk a couple of miles every morning. Go to the pound and save a life, Dave!
