If I were to buy a new KTM it would be from KTM world. But I have never bought a new motorcycle because of the sheer number of quality bikes sitting in garages.
Bobby W. is selling '24 TE 150 for $6,749.00, at Woolies Cycles of Atlanta. Out the door after taxes and fees for $8,531.94
Heading to KTM World / Highland Park Resort in less than a week to check out Paul's shop. I've been meaning to for a while now. Lots of friends who get their bikes serviced there.
I like Paul and I love Highland Park…. However I took a EXCF350 there which had no spark… After they threw several parts at it they told me it was a harness issue and they were on back order…Bike stayed there for about 2 Months then I found a new one online oversea’s and bit the bullet and got it… installed myself and bam still no spark… Sold the bike as was at a low cost and the new owner found a cracked male connector and had it running in 1 day… Seems like KTM World would have found it….
are you staying on property? The single track is alot of fun. If youre in the area check this place https://m.facebook.com/@Rockcrusherfarm/?profile_tab_item_selected=about
Young Harris is a cool area up in the mountains but it's 120 miles from Cedartown so... If y'all like Civil War history on your way south on 75 to Cedartown check out lookout mountain and the chickamongwa museum. And from there south along 75 there's cool little battlefields to see like Kennesaw mountain, etc all the way to ATL
well yeah and the facility is not always open like KTMworld is. But Rockcrusher is an awesome place and if you have the opportunity to ride there... its world class.
Chickamauga… Tons of history in the area. Along with tons of excellent riding also. The above the clouds deal on Lookout is pretty awesome also if you catch it open or know someone to get an invite. As well as The Windy Gap trail in Chatsworth/Eton. It’s about as hard enduro as this old man wants to get these days. I don’t like carrying my bike over boulders that much..
Deals are crazy right now on 2024 KTM 500 EXC-F's. I picked up a new 2024 500 EXC-F for 8699 + Tax. Did not need another dirt bike but going to set this one up for dual sport riding. Will go nice with the 24 SMR and 23 300 XC in garage.

I really don't see any rebates on the SMR's. They have special financing rate on them. Most dealers will sell them at invoice that is what I got my 24 SMR for. You might want to hold off for the 25 SMR.... New chassis and CC forks.
https://racerxonline.com/2024/12/04/yamaha-welcomes-cody-webb-to-the-blu-cru What are the odds that Yamaha will build an updated 2t?
I'm pretty confident they're working on it. Listening to an interview with Webb it sounds like they're working on testing a GYTR e-start already in addition to other crucial developments. If they can do that, weight the flywheel a little more, and add a little more bottom end torque, the YZX would make a sweet enduro. Also perfect timing considering what's going on with KTM; come in and sweep up the mess.
Personally, I like the simplicity and reliability of the 250x. Its kind of nice that there is still a woods bike out there that doesn’t rely on a battery, or charging system. I wouldn’t be upset if they left that alone, and built an entirely new platform with e-start and injection.
You can get an optional kicker for most enduros. The Keihin carb is proven and Yamaha tunes them perfectly (as they should, the bike has been around since 2006).
2005 was the first year of that frame for the 250. I don’t think that the engine has changed internally since 03.
I mean the 250x is nice but the KTM is much nicer & comes in more flavors. If you had 15k to put together a ready to race bike for enduros... the Yamaha doesnt come in much cheaper than KTM. The YZ250 FX is pretty bad ass.
tuned perfectly for what? At elevation they need ALOT of help. At sea level... meh. The air filter is also meh.
