Actually surprised some big conglomerate hasn't just bought all of Suzuki. I hear Erik Buell has some time on his hands
They did and started to strip mine the company. Suzuki had to spend a lot of cash they needed in other ways to buy themselves out of the investment.
This is the end,my friend... Probably. No more GSX-R 1000 for Europe https://www.bennetts.co.uk/bikesocial/news-and-views/news/2022/july/suzuki-gsxr1000-gone-2022
I had an XL69 once, she farted twice in my face...I told her I didn't think I could handle 67 more of those
Going out on top step. Congrats to Suzuki, they put together a hell of a bike, and program for their return to GP, and were competitive right till the end. I hope everyone in that team finds a soft place to land in the paddock somewhere.
It's damn shame for sure...I just can't believe they are getting out of racing altogether. Sad day indeed....
Mir: “So I don't really understand why they took this decision. They will have their reasons… but I don't understand, honestly......I don't know if you saw. I didn't celebrate it. I didn't want to celebrate this last race with Suzuki. Because for me, it's not a happy day,” Mir explained. “We will not work together as a team again, and this makes me sad.” https://www.crash.net/motogp/news/1...at-shame-i-don-t-understand-suzuki-s-decision
