Daytona bike week feb28-march9 2025 anybody from WERA bbs there?

It's blowing a gale in Daytona wow!! It was weird to see everyone wearing heavy jackets

 

They redid the curbs so you can't run over them like they used to. That was in the fall, not sure if they did anything else since then.

 

Interesting that the baggers are having tire issues...

 

Not surprising if you saw some of the tires after the races the last couple of years...

I just fired up the live stream and thought the same thing - they put in a parking lot.

 

No more grass. The pavement is the same, but the curbs are raised, so you can only use a tiny portion of them. No more “4 paints” line through there.

the exit is the biggest difference, you have to keep turning a tick longer and you’re pointed more up towards the wall.
