There has got to be a guy on here that cad designs buildings and layouts. Cuz the beeb has got someone that does this cuz we got everyone on here. we got people for everything right? I don't expect anything for free, willing to pay....A real beeb oddity right there. I am building a new race shop here in Vegas and I need some CAD design. I got race trucks, chase trucks machines, offices etc that need to go into this thing. I need to build a second level in a portion of the building. I am looking at a 55 x 80 or a 45 x 90. I have some grading challenges and I am trying to maximize the size of the building on the land without hauling in 50 trucks of dirt and building a 40k retaining wall. Cad designs are all scope/trade driven these days. Need architectural cad? That's one guy. Want your plumbing and HVAC drawn? Different guy. Electrical? Fire sprinkler? All different rades and different designers. Hell even structural is different from arch. If you are looking for one guy to draw it all, go with an architectural designer who can somewhat fake the other trades. But if you want drawings you can build from, you need a company that employs all those subject matter experts. In San Diego, we used to use a company called Kelar Pacific, they had a decent amount of varied experts in multiple trades. (I hate the owner, he's a pompous ass) But the actual trade designers were good people.
Will this shop have an apartment for me? I mean for when you hire me to drive across the country all the time.
Yes that I get, for submission to the county. what I really need is someone that can help me cad out the main floor, like, oh a truck is 18 feet long and 8 feet wide truck one goes here, than machines go there, etc, the rest is kinda already done
Do you already have the structure designed? With electricals? Last comment made it sound like you want someone to help with the floor plan, aka 'help me tetris all my crap in this space'.
Yup that's exactly what I need! All the electrical and shit is easy. We are not even permitting that, so just open space, then electrical, air lines, bathroom offices, etc.
