went there about 2 months ago....gate was closed as in a previous picture posted(didnt feel like getting arrested for trespassing) but what I didn't realize was the eventual track layout they wanted was longer. by extending the first section of the track into the field seen on google maps. It kind of reminded me of phillip islands first 3 turns (really fast left hander, tight right, and fast right) and i think it would be one of the best layouts in the country. I think it will eventually be some sort of a usable track, its a top coat away from being able to do track days on it. I cant see it being abandoned forever and i dont think they'd just rip up the track for something else....just my thoughts and i really hope it opens less than half hour from cincy
I said that 4 months ago as somewhat of a joke. But I did hear of a rumor that Monte sold his part of STT to do just that! Any update?
That would be great, I would think it would be somewhat of a money pit at the beginning. But it would turn into something great.
that would be great but as a rumor, its just that and i'll take it for what it is. BMP is like the motorcycle racing version of Gran Turismo 5
the first half of that rumor was confirmed pretty quickly, but this is the first I've heard of Monte buying (interest in?) a track. that said, Monte's usually quick to dispel false rumors, so if he's even aware this is being talked about, silence might convey more than he intends.
