I had an order ship only some of the items. Paid in full at checkout. Fork springs and rear spring were part of the order, but apparently went out of stock as my order was processing. Made a call, and CS said I will get them within a week. Few weeks go by and nothing. Account I paid with still showing I paid the full amount. Motosport now says I need to pay for all the springs AGAIN before they’ll ship. 2 days ago a CS rep confirmed the total I paid included the springs. Now last night another is saying it’s not showing that. It’s a difference of a couple hundred bucks, so more than obvious, being as I paid the higher amount. It’s a clusterfak
Kris hasn’t been around in awhile. I tried getting a hold of him now that we’re almost neighbors. I know he moved on to lots more hare scrambling……but lost his number and he’s not responding to pm’s here
Rockymountaintvmc.com Just tell motorsport to cancel and refund, order from rmatvmc. And tell motorsport.com that's what you're going to do.
Yeah, I'm really loving Rocky Mountain these days and I think they're gonna be my goto for all gear and parts moving forward. I just realized they have parts fiches for bikes which is a big plus - Partzilla has been really hit or miss for me.
I've worked for a corporation that was bought out by a PE firm and you're damn right they do. You think unlimited shrimp killed Red Lobster? Nope, PE firm bleeding them dry and selling off the assets when the whole thing eventually goes under.
I’ve been doing all my dirty bike parts etc from Rocky Mountain atv the past couple years, and been absolutely happy. But this time they didn’t have one item I was looking for, so decided to do a big order from Motosport unfortunately, to get everything ordered once.
I have been using motosport only when Rocky Mountain doesn't have the item. Historically, I have never had issues with motosport but Rocky mountain is usually a buck or two cheaper and faster to ship since they are located one state north of me. Right before Christmas motosport had a Honda 110 number plate in stock, Rocky mtn didn't. Order went smooth and arrived on time to be under the tree for my son. Good luck getting everything sorted @britx303
Just ordered tires from them on 12/30 (sale I couldn't pass up) and with free shipping they were here today. Hate when a vendor is inconsistent.
Since their HQ is local and I know people who worked there, I see that the PE firm that owned Backcountry, which owned Motorsport sold them to another PE firm, likely one that lacks any MC experience. Backcountry has/had a CEO that chased everyone using Backcountry in their business's name, threatening lawsuits and trying to have the US trademark office revoked their companies names. Yeah, eff PE firms
I try to order from Slavens, Enduro Engineering etc for hard parts and specialty parts, otherwise I've been going to Rocky Mountain since MotoSport sold the first time because my card got popped then. Get yourselves an AmEx and never look back.
I live in a small town. I'm lucky to find dirt bike size tubes for my tires. Local isn't always an option, but I do try. No one has OEM parts here.
Kris sells on Ebay under the same user name as here - t500racer - maybe do a contact seller there and see if he responds.
