Interesting. I figured I was ahead of the game.

 

Why'd you sell the STi?

 

STI was a mean machine. It towed the bikes to the track. Fast in snow, very fast in summer.

A young kid offered me good money for it. I was forced to sell it.

Plus I am a German car guy at heart.

 

Maybe by the time mine blows, a used A6 3.0T Avant would be reasonable $.

 

Yep, fun starts at 300hp. A used S4 Avant would be slick

 

The new S6 has a twin turbo V8, that is at roughly 400hp. I've been driving that for the past few weeks. LOTS of power.

 

Try the 5 cylinder TT yet?

 

That car weights like 2lbs. Hah, but no, we don't have one at the facility right now. Supposedly we will be getting a TTS at some point next year.

Just went with a buddy of mine, he picked up a new S4. Its a sweet ride.

 

I've put 99000 miles on my '08 A5 with the v6 and a manual trans. It's a rolling piece if shit... Worst car ever made... It will make your penis smaller, and your hair fall out. Your bikes will all catch on fire, your dogs will die of aids, and all your shrubberies will wither and die. I do average 30 miles to the gallon though. So that's kinda cool. I'd recommend the 2 liter Turbo though. Huge aftermarket.

You can tune the crap out of an Audi 2.0t very easily... Just a reflash will do wonders.

I made an offer on a 2006 s4 w/ 45,000 miles. $22,000.

Owner declined and said $23,000. I'll let him ferment a bit.

 

I'm only kidding. It's a great car. 99K+ miles with no real problems at all.
