Lighter than the X Trenta with the same power, I am listing my Aprilia RSV4 World Superbike spec with all the spares. The engine is a superbike engine built by Jamie Hanshaw with 680miles and was set at 13,800 redline- Ported/Polished heads/Machined Cylinder heads/NGK Surface Discharge sparkplugs/STM World SBK slipper clutch/Nova Racing close ratio gearbox/BDK Race stator and runs on 100 octane unleaded or higher. With the new race fuel and World SBK exhaust, I should be able to squeeze another 4-5 HP out of it. The real deal Akropovic World Superbike full titanium exhaust with a spare carbon fiber 70mm exhaust can. The exhaust was cut and rewelded with the round ports to fit this engine. The chassis was tuned by Trackside labs using Motospec The swingarm is an original Aprilia Racing World Superbike underslung that weighs 4lbs less than the OEM and has adjustable bushings The rear shock is KTech's BSB spec The front suspension is KTech's KRT 3 Superbike forks with Aprilia Racing adjustable triple tree Brembo forged 2 piece calipers and billet rear caliper Wheels are Thyssenkrupp Carbon Fiber that weigh a combined 11lbs without rotors Carbon Fiber rear rotor has the full rear wheel assembly with rotors/sprockets and tire at 24lbs It has the World Superbike fuel tank with 2 more spares I comes with 2 extra swingarms, one another legit World SBK swingarm that is currently being repaired with a spare pivot/axle and one new OEM that is from the 21-24 with spare pivot/axle It has the 320mm rotors and comes with a spare set of 330mm rotors with spacers Has spare wheel spacers, a spare Marvic magnesium rear wheel assembly The electronics were swapped from the APX2 to OEM 2016 electronics with a Starlane Davinci dash World Superbike radiator and oil cooler with SAMCO hoses Spare 520 RK Road Race chain still in the package. Spare Sprocket front and rear sprockets for different tracks/gearing 3 sets of bodywork. One carbon fiber, one carbon kevlar, and one ABS that has some minor damage that can easily be fixed 2 spare carbon fiber Superbike seat units 2 spare superbike subframes to fit the larger fuel tank and fuel cell Front/Rear stands Spare windscreens (4 i think) Nearly every bolt and nut is titanium And probably other spares that I can't recall. Before i swapped the electronics I was able to get the bike down to 334lbs without fuel. With the OEM electronics I think it's probably around 340lbs but can weigh it with an empty fuel cell. It is currently at the local Aprilia dealership getting a once over to make sure the electronics are all good and then its off to Duane Hoeffer for Dyno tuning to get the max out of the Sunoco EVO10 race fuel. The pictures are with the GP Werkes custom titanium exhaust link pipe and can as I have not taken any pics yet with the new exhaust on it. I am focusing on my R7-1 build and would like to build a 2nd bike and race vintage without so much damn power as I'm a bit older, a bit busier, and my daughter is in middle school now. I'd rather sell it as a whole package than break it apart. Plus I can use some of the money towards the 2nd R7-1 build. It has had many different liveries but is currently in Britten colors with the carbon fiber as I was going to paint the others to look like the 2010 Alitalia, but I'll leave those blank for now. Technically I think it has 2 more years of eligibility in Moto America Superbike but you'll have to ditch the wheels and add some weight back as I think the minimum without fuel is 375lbs and require forged wheels. And not that it matters, but this bike was in The Handbuilt Show in Austin, The Mama Tried Show in Milwaukee, The Fuel Show in Cleveland, and was invited to The One Show in Portland, Oregon. At the Handbuilt Show, even the Moto GP techs (Who all worked on the Superbike Program) stopped and looked and asked how I got the bike. I also have the contact at Aprilia Racing should you need to try and purchase any spares they might have left. But for the most parts, swingarms and fuel tanks are no more. But I've got you covered with spares, which include even more additional spacers, brackets, exhaust, throttle bodies, clip ons, new in package front brake pads and rear brake pads, spare titanium bolts. One of the swingarms came off Max Biaggi's 2012 Championship winning bike too. Confirmed by Max and Aprilia Racing with the lot code. If you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask. What you see is a package that would have approached more than double the asking price. And nobody in the Western Hemisphere will have what you have... Unless a collector brought one over.
Holy cow! I saw that thing at the Cleveland show. I was wondering WTF that was doing in that douchetastic bro crowd. Awesome build.
Awesome bike and build! Your avatar pic looks like wheelie hill at NYST. Are you interested in selling one of the SBK arms, I may have a buyer for you....
I don't really want to separate it all, but I'd be interested.... But these are off Max Biaggi's 2012 bike... They won't be close to what they cost from Aprilia Racing (16K USD by the way, plus you had to pay for linkage, axle, and swingarm pivot separately) But I'd sell one of the swingarms with their axles/swingarm pivot/bushings - but we are talking the price of a Suter swingarm. You might want to ask him if he knows what these cost.
I will ask, and he is aware of the suter cost, I have been trying to get them to buy one as well, or else I will unfriend them...lol I have a suter arm on my BMW and 2 harris arms on my yamahas....
I'm using a 2001 Yamaha R1, but I scored the original Akro titanium exhaust, QB Carbon carbon fiber fuel tank that is made to fit the R1 frame, R7 fairings, and then the jet kit to allow the RAM air box with a DNA filter... Should be good for around 145rwhp. I'm going resto mod though, so I'm using a 2006 Yamaha R1 front end with the gold forks, radial brake system, 2006 R1 wheels, Brembo rotors, Brembo calipers and Master, KTech internals, healtech quickshifter and a Yoyodyne slipper. Tapeworks is going to make the R7 headlight decals for me too as I have a buddy in the UK who has one and has the real headlights... but you can't get those anymore. So decals it is! lol I wanted to sell the Aprilia so I could build another and have 2, but this will be a race bike first, "legal" street bike second for now. But I wanted to take it to the track a lot and maybe do some AHRMA rounds in Gen 3 SBK and AMA Vintage days this year.
I think the Iconic guys or Boca Pete had Buckmaster's R7/1 for a little while. Not sure if they sold it or not
That is gonna be a sick build, cant wait to see it come together. I also have a QB carbon tank, I actually had mine lined with "Red-Kote" tank liner to accept all types of fuel (with and without ethanol) but I use ethanol free gas regardless. Installed AP triples recently and did all the race bearings. Also have the AP RAM air and flat side carbs. Have a full Akra for it, but I finally scored an Arata can which I loved on my ole 99 R1. Not to take away from the ad, but the OW-02 was $32,000 in 1999. Crazy price for a bike you could possibly get at the dealer. keep us posted on your build. I would get your aprilia but it’s just not enough for me in my novice track day group.
Bump for an awesome Aprilia! Ryan, I'm confused, you're building a R7 with R1 motor (like Graves ran in F-X), or you're building a R1 with R7 bodywork?
I just picked up that airbox for mine but it didn't come with a filter. Are those still available somewhere?
