Hmmmm... Do you take trade ins on R6 Racebikes Hmmmmmm... What do you need down for a deposit. I'm obviously a gluten for punishment on unproven shit...
Bennett’s predicting 80-83hp at the wheel stock and 90hp with exhaust and kit ecu. Sounds reasonable. https://www.bennetts.co.uk/bikesoci...5qlLO53Mdn24FRhsujZdw8z0xUVcuJDrwC8E_H3HXgYfo
Robby-Bobby..... Are you guy slotted to get some RS660's to sell on the floor or is everything that comes in preorder?
Like most, they will fill all the pre-orders first. I did ask as to when we might get some "stock" and the answer was that they have a lot of orders to fill. So If you want one, order one if you want anytime soon.
Have you heard anything about a timeline for the Tuono 660? I suspect, demand for the RS will overwhelm their capacity and it’ll be awhile?
I have heard nothing at all. I suspect you're exactly right on your guess. usually the naked is a year behind the sport. I hope for a couple different models as an Aprilia dealer, their current stock has gotten stale. Until the 660.
Heard anything about a track version, Trefeo or something? I saw a few posts on IG about that. Real or not?
Their frequently-spied Tuareg ADV bike will be compelling, I suspect. It should easily be way less weight than the current, popular choices. It’ll be the ADV bike many have frankensteined (SV, Versys/Ninja 650, etc). It’ll have all the electronics no other 500cc-700cc “ADV” bike currently offer. It should do really well. When it was leaked that Triumph were coming out with a “Tiger Cub”, I envisioned something along the lines of this Aprilia Tuareg 660; not the beast the Tiger 800 is.
Definitely real. It’s been shown on the Euro 660 FB pages I follow. One of those groups is led by what seems to be an Aprilia PR liaison of sorts, as he has posted tons more info/pics I’ve not seen anywhere else.
That's disappointing, I'd hope they'd bias it more towards offroad like the Tenere, and still include the electronic bits and bobs, but I understand selling to dentists is much more lucrative.
The T7 is the type of bike many on ADV Rider have frankensteined. They take something light, like an SV or Ninja 650, add a MX fork, long shock, spoked wheels, etc, and rip with the things.
