Naw.. its not like you guys think. My uncle... whom I truly and dearly love is going to die. He has been a Tarheel fan all of his life. I believe he even met Dean Smith a few times. He called me Thursday night and told me he needed help and that he couldn't breathe. So I called 911 and rushed to him. This was after the game was over. I'm fairly certain he knew he was bad off way before he called but wanted to to finish watching the game before he called me. He should have called 911 himself way before he did but he called me because that's how close we are. He's 80 but has never ever acted his age. They're getting ready to take him off the ventilator and let him go.
Sorry to hear about your uncle, you two seem close. There's something cool about uncles and nephews, I had a bunch of uncles, and they were always fun to be around. I'm very close with a couple of my nephews, we talk as much as I talk to my kids. He sent me a birthday wish and called me the GOAT of uncles.
Man, very sorry to read this. If he knew that it wasn't going to make a difference, it's cool that he had his priorities straight, though. I would definitely wait for the end of a MotoGP race before calling emergency services too.
Sorry about your uncle. I'll give him a pass on his UNC affliction. Tell him to give Dean a message for me..."The Four Corners Offense sucked."
Shiyo brother When he walks on he’ll be truly free. May the smiles and laughs of memories with him carry you through the transition. call me if you want an off Rez ear, always here for you brother
