I have been alternating between a couple different Tag F1 quartz watches at work. I work around magnets so I do not really want to expose my automatic watches to the B fields. Anyone know of some magnetic resistant automatic watches (besides the Rolex Milgauss)?
I have demagnetized some watches. I’ve always removed the movement, but I don’t know if you have to. The machine is pretty cheap.
Man, this is really tempting.. https://www.ebay.com/itm/2664038812...EpeUAWmNTBgvU6jP_iQoz97y2oW7V2ARoCDHAQAvD_BwE
Many of Omega’s modern offerings are antimagnetic to 15,000 gauss. They designed a movement around a non ferrous spring in 2013…
If you feel like bidding half your house on a watch https://www.phillips.com/auction/NY...4410274&utm_id=120226355944660274_v2_s01_e233
Meh there is a few neat things on there but not much that really interests me and the pricing is very Auction HIGH
Anyone need to stock up on Seiko's...Kohls has some pretty god deals. A co-worker i am trying to turn into a watch guy sent me a Seiko 5 GMT and asked if its good price. Its a SS all black seiko 5 Auto/GMT...$283.....uh yeah...crazy good. Check out Kohls for some cheap Seiko crack. Watch lurkers...now your chance to jump in. https://www.kohls.com/catalog/mens-seiko-watches.jsp?CN=Gender:Mens+Brand:Seiko+Department:Watches
I don't see anything that mindblowing when compared to ebay/amazon/joma ... unless you got some kohls cash to burn, that is SSK033 and ssk025 can be had for less on Ebay brand new, for example.
Maybe not an authorized dealer, but its a $300 watch, not $3000 ... does it make that much difference at this price point?
Did it cost anything to fix it? What would regulating it have cost you outside of warranty? And, the more important question, why didn't you regulate it yourself?

In Tokyo for a few days. Saw this watch at a Hamilton store. It jumped out as something different with 7 pieces of sapphire crystal. I’m not in the market for a watch but have window shopped Seikos and this… https://www.hamiltonwatch.com/en-us...sic-boulton-titanium-death-stranding-two.html
Mizutani Camera - lots of great antique watches short walk from Ueno station - only couple stops north of Tokyo Station. Nakano Broadway - A mall with a bunch of watch shops...Jackroad, Fire Kids and many others. Short walk north of Nakano Station. Also a lot of Anime and Manga shops if you like that. These 2 are must check out for watch guys in Tokyo. What part of town are you staying in?
