I don't know. A couple of them call out to me and I've looked at them but the only one I ever owned was a steaming pile of goat shit.

Quality was good but it had a face as big as a clock and the type and hands were so small you couldn't read it at a glance. You literally had to get it in front of your face. Bad functionally..

There's the rest of my problems with them. The size, the face is usually too busy and the hands are too small.

I like their tool watches, the super quartzs like the aerospace evo. I'm saving my airline miles for a chronomat 44, just to see if I can hit that number. lol!

I don't mind a large watch but when they get to 44mm or even 46, I like the face plain, like the IWC big pilot.

IWC deployants are single fold and really suck, so this one just has a buckle. IWC quality is top notch.

I really like Breitlings. I've had a b1 for a few years and a navitimer world for 7 - never got them serviced and they still ran like champs even though I put them through daily hell in the jet. I sold them and now waiting on this custom piece. They make custom dials for airwolfs and emergencies too.

    Steeltoe What's my move?

Is Breitling the pilot's defacto watch? Got a buddy who flies jets for the Nazif types and him and his cronies are Breitling junkies.

^^^ I have this same watch in the 44. Purchased it two years ago. Have several nice watches and now wear this one daily.

I really liked the Blancpain Fathom I looked at but it wasn't a home run. Nice but I'd rather have a Rolex Sub, a GMT or a deep sea and pocket the difference.

Shit, a SS Daytona is about the same cash (different style of watch) and I think I'd rather go there.

Yeah, I get it. Just a little less common than a Rolex. They're all nice pieces though.

Yeap and I totally get that. :)

Only people that know watches would know what you're sportin' with a Blancpain.

17k-18k. The thing about these watches, though is that they aren't like cars or bikes. You can sell them for little to no loss, or even a slight gain.

Who is making Porsche design watches now? Eterna was making them but that ended a few months back and that watch sure as heck is not an Eterna.

Yeah. Completely ridiculous until you get one and then the bug bites. Once you have one, you can sell it and keep turning it over.

They have as much practical use as a racebike.
