    I replaced ours with an instapot hoping for a multi use item - it's okay for pressure cooking but sucks at rice. Need to buy a new rice cooker.

    The Spanish rice that I have learned to cook wouldn't work in a rice cooker or Insta Pot.

    The rice to liquid ratio is the same (1:2) but I add a can of Rotel to the water to make 2 cups.

    Butter in a skillet to brown the rice slightly. Sprinkle on some Knorr "Tomato Bouillon w/ Chicken" as it's browning.

    Add the water/Rotel mix, stir and cover for 20 minutes. Voila! :)

    I do basically the same but with cooked rice. Occasionally add some corn and usually a bit of tomato sauce as well. And some garlic powder, and cumin, and if I feel like the prep, some diced onion :crackup:
