I am refurbishing my supermono bike, an '89 TZ250W chassis with a Honda FT500-based motor. The original rear shock is still on it and in need of a complete overhaul. Any recommendations for someone who would be able to service and set up the shock for me? I've heard Lindemann Engineering knows TZs?

    Thanks,

    Kurt

It has been a few years, but I have used LE before and was quite happy with the results.

    Yes, we know TZ's.

I'll need to know how much the bike weights now as well as how much you weight.
    Thank you,

Ed, you probably raced a bunch of those chassis when they were current.

    Thanks, stickboy
My first TZ was a '90. I got it in '92, sold it in '94 and got it back a few years ago. One of my clients races it at Willow now.

Don't worry about me saying you been around a long time. My first GNF to spectate was '91. I've been at races ever since, either racing or trying to earn some cash to race.

I remember when street bikes got full bodywork.

Sorry about the tread jack ProfessorX.

So stickboy, you try to make me feel better about being old by telling me how you started watching races way back in '91, thanks a whole bunch!:rolleyes::rolleyes:

I started racing in '84

See you at a track soon.

I was out of HS for years before I showed up. I didn't have cash in '84.

Back on target, Ed can fix that thing up. No problem.
