I can’t believe it’s been 8 years. Nicky is one of my favorites, no doubt. He was humble, funny, caring, and a damn talented racer. There won’t be another one like him for a long time.
A little bittersweet. I was pleasantly surprised this morning to see Nicky all over my feed, until I had that first sip of coffee and realized why.
Didn't know him or his family personally, but everything I've ever heard, seen, or read says that they are all stand up individuals who corner low. I'm a huge Repsol Honda fan, and 69>93 in my heart. RIP, Champ.
I remember the day he won the MotoGP championship...what a day! Definitely stings that he is gone RIP Champ
Man it feels like it was just yesterday. I still remember all the Nicky Hayden stories in the back of Cycle News when coming up thru dirt track.
